Azure Expert

Experience: 10+ Years of relevant experience. Minimum 4 years in designing & implementing cloud solutions.

Role Description:

This role is critical in designing the scalable azure infrastructure to deliver an end-to-end hosting service for mission critical applications in cloud.

This role will be responsible for working with application service owners, vendors, network and security leads as well as the other support teams.

Essential Skills:

• Assessing business and applications requirements
• Planning, designing and upgrading azure design projects
• Troubleshooting azure infrastructure issues and making recommendations for system findings and enhancements
• Cost management understanding, making recommendations for leveraging installations and reducing operational costs
• Significant experience of operating in a Design and Governance role having end-to-end responsibility and spanning multiple technology domains
• Experience of identifying and managing technology security risk.
• Experience of working in a technology based role and interfacing to a varied number of internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, and written and verbal presentation skills.
• Ability to simplify analysis and present results clearly at all levels of the business - including at senior management team level.
• Strong work ethic and a desire to help drive a successful architectural vision across the projects
• Ability to rapidly assimilate new information and new techniques.
• Work with the Azure cloud team to revisit and redefine the deployment standards
• Actively participate in the definition of the best practices for cloud adoption
• Lead – across the organization through technical aspects influencing key stakeholders to adhere to the best practices
• Take ownership to improve the landing zone
• Assertive to conduct different stakeholders to deploy to cloud the solutions that have the best value for the company

Technical Requirements:

• Drive and deliver strategic cloud architecting & implementation in Azure
• Delivery of complex solutions to issues which might include but are not limited to:
  • Architecture, Configuration, Security, Performance, Scalability, Reliability, Infrastructure etc.
  • WAF configuration
  • Azure DNS configuration
  • Understanding Private link
• Recommends how specific technologies, standards, methods and techniques are to be used throughout the solutions delivery community.
• Designs and implements larger research and proof of concept projects as an individual contributor, focusing on one or a small number of technologies or applications to be implemented into a larger platform.
• Effectively anchors and drives technical solution across onshore/offshore teams
• Technical degree with at least 10+ years of increasing responsibility out of which, at least 4 years in designing & implementing cloud solutions.
• Strong work ethic and a desire to help drive a successful architectural vision across the projects.
• Proficient & Hands on experience in architecting, designing and managing continuous delivery system and methodologies on Azure.
• Good understanding of developing PowerShell scripts and ARM templates to automate the provisioning ad deployment process.
• Understanding of network design principles VPN, Express route, Load balancing, Network watcher, Traffic manager, User define Routing etc.
• Conceptual understanding of SOA principles, Design Patterns and ability to provide solutions based on them
