CLOUD AWS ADMIN

Extensive experience building solutions and managing workloads on AWS as a developer, platform engineer, or both

• Experience with (Docker) container orchestration platforms, especially Kubernetes and/or AWS EKS. AWS ECS a plus.
• Proficient with a common imperative scripting language, particularly Python
• Experience managing CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Codefresh, AWS CodePipeline, etc.
• Experience managing infrastructure as code, particularly with Terraform
• Experience building and administering secrets management solutions like Hashicorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, etc.
• Working knowledge of serverless technology like AWS Lambda, etc
• Experience with Agile ways of working (Kanban and/or Scrum)
• Knowledge and experience in writing code and infrastructure tests (unit testing, automation testing, end-to-end integration testing, etc.)
• Experience working within cross-functional teams (engineering, product, vendors)
• Experience with the Atlassian tools suite, particularly JIRA and Confluence
• Broad working knowledge of software engineering best practices/patterns
• Software design and implementation experience, including APIs/
• Thorough understanding and experience with DevOps workflow concepts, particularly as they pertain to infrastructure/platform teams (source-controlled infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, etc.)
