Devops Engineer

Must-Have

• Good knowledge of Linux / UNIX
• Hands-on with Git
• High-level scripting ability with Bash (Python good to have)
• Experience in Spring Boot, Groovy, and Java
• Build tool: Maven
• Expert in Cloud-Native App development using Docker, Kubernetes, and Openshift
• Tool stack experience

Java Development Background Must

Scripting like Groovy OR Shell is Must

Microservices Exp Good to have

• JIRA
• Jenkins (pipelines) – This is a must-have as we do a lot of groovy based work with pipelines
• BitBucket
• Confluence
• Artifactory
• Nexus IQ
• Sonarqube
• AppDynamics
• Splunk

Good to have

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of best practices of development, testing, operations, production, deployment, and monitoring.
• Knowledge and certification in agile software development technologies and DevOps.
• Experience in the various cloud such as Azure, GCP, AWS, etc will be a plus.
• Experience in configuration management tools such as Ansible, Saltstack, Puppet, etc will be a plus.
• Certification in DevOps is preferred.
