Networking Support Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle the routine Network Security activities
• Support Network Security Initiatives
• Furnish routine security reports and dashboards.
• Extensive knowledge of both Networking, Systems and support processes encompassing huge network deployments.
• Stay with up to date industry trends and Emerging Technologies in Network Security
• Fair knowledge with network routing and Switching
• Reviewing current security measure, recommend and implement enhancements
• Develop and maintain security procedures and guidelines.
• Reviewing current system security measures, recommending and implementing enhancements
• Collaborate with Information Security and other IT teams for developing and maintaining the highest level of Corporate Network security practices.
• Installing/ Upgrading/ Configuring software
• Installing new hardware (servers, printers, computer workstations, etc.)

 Requirements

• Network equipment changes are properly handled and approved
• Deep understanding of Network Security an advantage
• VMWare technologies experience an advantage

• A clear understanding of the employer's systems
• In depth knowledge of the four network types (LAN, WAN, MAN and GAN)
• Good working knowledge of the following operating systems: -Basic Linux, Windows XP / Vista / Windows 7/8/10 and Windows 2003 / 2008 / 2012 Server with Active Directory,
