ABS Freedom, a division of ABS, is one of the leading providers of integrated asset management software covering principal aspects of vessel operations such as Regulatory Requirements, Crew and Payroll Management, Purchasing and Planned Maintenance, Energy Management, and Vetting. It is an ERP-like system utilized by a unique market of some of the world’s largest vessel, boat, and offshore rig operators.
Primary Job Responsibility
- Perform business requirement analysis and work closely with subject matter experts to translate high-level requirements into interactions that are intuitive and cater to all the business needs.
- Conceptualize business ideas and design user-friendly UI interfaces.
- Establish and promote UX design guidelines, follow best practices and standards.
- Able to implement the usability aesthetics and provide appropriate solutions to various business users.
- Demonstrable UX design skills with a decent understanding of underlying implementation technology.
- Capture and translate business ideas and solutions to reusable artifacts for future reference.
Experience/ Skill Level
- 6 to 10 years of professional experience in the field of software development.
- Experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and functional flows.
- Conversant with the latest Web and Mobile Usability standards.
- Experience with Responsive application Design.
- Conversant with Axure and Photoshop.
- Work with HTML/CSS Specialists to translate a conceptual design to a ready-to-be-developed specification.
- Innovative and Self-motivated.
