Software Engineer

 Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, modify, debug and/or maintain software code according to functional, non-functional, and technical design specifications.
• Understand High-Level Design, Application Interface Design & build Low-Level Design as per specifications. Perform application analysis & propose technical solution for application enhancement or resolve production issues
• Investigate issues by reviewing/debugging code, provides fixes and workarounds, and reviews changes for operability to maintain existing software solutions.
• Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high availability and performance
• Perform Development & Deployment. Should be able to write well designed, testable, efficient Code, Unit Test & Deploy.
• Creation of necessary documentation for all project deliverable phases
• Handle Production Issues (Tier 3 Support, weekend on-call rotation) to resolve production issues & ensure SLAs are met.
• Knowledge/Experience of working thru Webservers wrt application hosting and migration of applications across servers

Technical Skills: Main Skill – Java Developer with IP Technologies

Mandatory

• Mandatory and Hands-on experience in Java Programming Mandatory: Strong Core java
• IP (layer 2,3,4) Technologies experience
• Good to have Knowledge of developing and consuming Web services using XML, SOAP, and / or WSDL standards (REST will be plus).
• Hands on experience of Oracle database, SQLs and PL/SQL queries.
• Hands-on experience Unix commands & basic shell scripting.

 Good to have

• Cloud knowledge in Azure.
• Knowledge of any DBMS like Oracle
