Azure Cloud Engineer works for support of digital transformation to the cloud. Transform client cloud strategy into technical reality through the build and support of hybrid and managed public cloud landscapes.
- You will be responsible to build and maintain web, virtual, and client server environments for the enterprise on cloud.
- You will be expected to troubleshoot and resolve any IT service issues related to operating systems and servers; partner with the other infrastructure teams to troubleshoot and resolve related issues.
- You will need to leverage optimization techniques to maximize the efficiency of all computer systems and Implement and maintains a systems business impact assessment to prioritize system recovery in the event of a failure.
- You will build and implement software standards for operating systems, servers and virtualized infrastructure.
- You will also be expected to evaluate new technologies to meet business needs or to solve business problems.
- You will manage and lead Root Cause Analysis, Lessons Learned and prevention processes to provide high standard deliverables that meet SLA (Service Level Adherence) and ensure CSAT (Customer Satisfaction).
- Cloud Engineer with at least 3-5 years of experience with cloud services -- including open source technology, software development, system engineering, scripting languages, and multiple cloud provider environments.
- Must have a background in Administrator activities both in project and DB
- Ability to follow procedures in a tightly run Change Control system and communicate to peers and upper management. This position has high visibility and requires a professional demeanor.
- Knowledge of writing infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Experience with orchestration frameworks and Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) tools (for example: Hudson/Jenkins, Ansible/Chef ).
- Experience with security, networking and databases.
- The team supports 24x7 production and working shifts and a weekend day if required.
- Experience in the following DevOps tools: OpenShift / ICP / Kubernetes, Docker is a must.
- Development experience, at least one of the following languages – Go / Python / Ruby / Java /C++.
- Experience with Ansible or other configuration management systems (Chef/Puppet) is an advantage.
- Experience in Congiguring Networks, Monitoring Resources with Log Analytics, Compute administration, Implement and Manage Storage and protecting Identities.
- Strong in Linux administration skills (RedHat / CentOS / Ubuntu).
- Strong in Windows Administration skills
- Experience working in agile/scrum teams.
- Hands on experience in high scale production support(L1/L2/L3).
- Experience in troubleshooting problems and working with a team to resolve large scale issues.
