Job Description
- Ability to manage a Windows Server with only PowerShell (no gui)
- Deep knowledge of underlying hardware subsystems / technologies and troubleshooting experience.
- Design, install and configure internal and customer facing servers, network devices and firewalls.
- Deep knowledge of storage subsystems and technologies.
- Familiarity and experience with industry standard administration tools and methodologies.
- Ability to manage situations of catastrophic failure or of a high risk and critical nature.
- Excellent logical troubleshooting ability. Demonstrated strong analysis, problem resolution, judgment and decision-making skills.
- Manage maintain the scheduled backup of Server End-user through backup Solutions task Jobs.
- Installation and basic administration of MSSQL databases like backup and restoration of Data using SQL native tool.
- Configuration and management of DNS, Mail (SMTP, IMAP, POP), and FTP services.
- Uses advanced troubleshooting methods and tools to solve technically complex problems.
- Experience with installation / patching of operating systems, application software
- Experience with server backups and data recovery tools and technologies
- Good verbal and written communication skills, must be able to interact within the team and other technical groups
